Department of

MUSIC

“Where words fail, music speaks.” – Hans Christian Andersen

The music department was founded in 1994 by Georgia Thucydides, who has since been the General Manager of the department. Until 2019 the department was operating under the name “Hellenic Conservatory of Archangelos”. Since 2020, the music department, as well as the dance and music theatre departments operate under a new, single name, the Future Academy of Arts.

The music department offers studies in a plethora of classical and modern instruments, theory lessons, as well as music lessons for pre-school children. The lessons are taught by qualified teachers, in comfortable purpose-built classrooms which are equipped with all the necessary facilities according to the specific needs of each lesson. Our ultimate goal is to offer all around music education in a student-friendly environment.

It is our firm belief that music education should be available to people of all ages. At the same time we recognize that each student has his/her own individual skills and needs, so we make sure that the lesson is adapted to the requirements of each student. In our school, our primary objective is that the lesson is a nice, comfortable and enjoyable experience for the student which will provide him with the necessary music knowledge and support him to reach the level of music education he desires.

The student soon finds out that he is a member of a large family where love and passion for music is abundant, while collaboration, understanding and mutual respect are the ingredients that make our school stand out. An important additional benefit for our students is that they all have the opportunity to present themselves at the

educational concerts organized by the school on a regular basis, as well as at the official events and performances of the school.
